Rental FAQ – Captain Ouzo’s Margarita Machine Rentals

 

What’s included in my rental?
Your rental includes 1 margarita machine, 1 cart, 1 mix, 50 straws, and 50 cups. We can set up your first batch and demonstrate how to make subsequent batches. Delivery and pickup are included for most Austin addresses. A travel fee applies for locations outside our service area.

How long is my rental?
Rentals are for a full day. Delivery occurs between 10 AM and 12 PM. Pickup for venues is at 10 PM, and for residences between 9 AM and 12 PM the following day. Late-night venue pickups after 10 PM incur additional fees ($40/hour). After 11 PM, an extra $25 charge applies every 30 minutes.

How do I secure my rental date and machine?
A $50 deposit reserves your rental, applied toward your balance. Remaining balance is due upon delivery. For weddings, large corporate events, and multiple rentals, the full balance is due 7 days before the event. 

Who provides the alcohol?
You provide the alcohol for your drinks.

Can I move the machine?
No. The machine weighs approximately 200 pounds and must remain on the cart in its delivery spot. Moving it may cause injury or damage and will incur a $400 relocation fee.

Is alcohol required?
No. The machine can make delicious alcohol-free frozen slushes, perfect for kids’ parties, fundraisers, or non-drinking guests. Inform us if you’re not using alcohol so we can adjust the mix for proper consistency.

Can I purchase extra mixes?
Yes! Additional mixes are $20 each. Extra sealed mixes are provided at no upfront cost; charges only apply if seals are broken.

What flavors do you offer?

Are there usage restrictions?

  • The machine cannot be used in direct sunlight.

  • Temperatures above 99°F may cause overheating and damage.

  • Do not use surge protectors with the machine.
